Jodie enjoys keeping fit with yoga and outdoor activities. When she’s not at work she’ll be having fun with her friends, family or church.
Jodie started her career in nursing at the Florence Nightingale Institute, King’s College London in 1997, where she qualified as an RN, but always knew she would go into midwifery. She qualified as a midwife in the UK in 2005 and practiced for 10 years before moving to the US with her husband Brian. Jodie completed her MS Midwifery in 2017 with Philadelphia University. She has been happily married to Brian, a native Kansan since 2004 and they have 2 lively children together. Jodie enjoys caring for women throughout their lifetime, with giving options on contraception, discussing sexual health, advice on menopausal issues, including hormone therapy. Her practice also includes advice on screening for hereditary cancers, health promotion and disease prevention with annual well-woman checks.
