Dr. Reaves enjoys watching her daughters play high school sports, traveling with her husband, and spending as much time as possible riding her horses.
Dr. Reaves is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She grew up in Ft. Worth and attended Texas Christian University for her undergraduate education, where she graduated with highest honors with a degree in Chemistry. She then received her M.D. from UT-Southwestern at Dallas where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and received the Annelle Ahmed Award to an outstanding senior medical student in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her internship and residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital- Dallas in 2001 and was selected Outstanding Teaching Resident at graduation by medical students and lower level residents. Her prior appointments include Chairman of the OB/GYN Department of Denton Regional Medical Center and Quality Improvement committee at North Texas Hospital. She offers multiple minimally invasive surgical options to her patients, including the Davinci Robotic approach, so her patients can return to their normal lives with as little discomfort and in as little time as possible. Dr. Reaves is passionate about helping all women, especially teens and young adults, have control over their reproductive lives with access to safe and effective contraception so they can have the lives they desire and deserve
